Yes, it will be used for that Steve. But for other things as well. The panels were put there just for scale.

It's the table that has some history, but all of the wood is almost new. (It came out looking rather aged in the photos, but it's really very new.)

Hint: In the USA, a common piece of construction timber that we call a "2-by-4" is actually 1.5" x 3.5". So, I wasn't sure what length screws to use to put this table together yesterday.

Ding-ding-ding-ding-ding! I cut the bottom of the crate into four pieces and am using them as table tops. The cross-members for the top of the crate are the legs. Some 2x4 bits make up some of the bracing. I still have the full-length sides and ends to use up...
