Sports/Spyder Owners w/ gas door struts

Hey. Any of you Sports and Spyder owners change the gas strut end fittings on the doors?
Looking for something a little stronger that won't pop off.

Hi,

I have recently replaced both gas struts on my sport.

Units came from the factory. The new ones are far sturdier with larger ends!!

If using these you will need to replace the ball joints (I also took the opportunity to reinforce the mounting points at the same time).

Doors are a lot better now.

Must have gone up in size to 10mm versions. Previous ones had 8mm end fittings.

I noticed that all the strut "ends" seem larger now.... the two which hold up the rear canopy are larger ended now. A newer batch I guess.
