Reinventing the wheel

I’m going to need something that lets me move car around and on and off the trailer etc.
Without having to shell out on wheels I don’t really have space for or can afford at this point in my build.
I’ve seen some Roman Chariot looking wood wheels/disks that I could make.
Has anyone else made some of these?
What wood did you use what thickness and what Diameter.

Leave it on the dolly until most everything is done. I even fitted the engine and 'box with it still up there.
If you really wanted to put it on its wheels then you could pick up a set of Granada wheels. they may not fit over the disc/caliper so you may have to put them on back to front.
If you want wooden wheels then 18mm exterior ply should do the job as there is not much weight.
