Lingenfelter LS7

For those looking for an LS7 for their Ultimas, this would be a nice choice I reckon:

Very suitable for road/daily driving.
And it will probably pass emissions testing despite Lingenfelter's disclaimer.

Good link but I'm quite surprised at the low cost. It's less then a crate engine and they have to firstly remove the front cover to change the cam and they also imply that they are changing the head bolts so are probably lifting the heads. Maybe that's an extra service. Either way, that's a fare bit of labour.

It would be a lot more viable to start with a short motor and build up from there. Maybe they're doing that?

Thanks for clearing that up. They aren't $30k though, quite a bit less then that. I was about to go and commit suicide when I saw the low price!

The LS7 is running around $13 to $14,000, + LPE's $5,500 package = ~$19,000 for a 614 hp engine with a 2 year warranty.

And when you bring that to the UK just look at how much vat we have to pay, well over £1500. Robbery or what!
