Gull Wing Doors

Ultimas are as quick, if not quicker, than anything on the road.

As a matter of design interest do the doors seal at speed as well as a conventional door? Equally when stationary are the doors waterproof. I realise this is not why one buys an Ultima and Yes - I know I am a pansy for asking but I am interested.

I assume that they are harder to fabricate and get a good seal (water/wind noise).

Do you know of any other kits with such doors.

The doors on my GTR seal fine.

It's when you open the door, that a bit of water may drop onto the sills.

Gull Wing was tried by the factory, and apparantly at high speed they ripped right off the car.

- depends how much rain there has been! I tend to wipe as much away with my hands from the door as I can and mop up the rest that falls in with a towel; I know, pansy.
