Many thanks to all folks who joined us in our mini-Ultima Comvoy. Longest convoy of Ultima's I've ever been in.
We've also been promised an official spot for next year - so watch this space for news.
(BTW simon's navigation on the way home sucked. Keith - no way are men better navigators!)

Had a fantastic day with great company, thanks to all.
Got stuck in a bad jam coming home on the M25 for about
an hour we crawled along, but temperature sat at 85, Nicky fell asleep
How can someone sleep in an Ultima?
As for Simon and his navigating he got lost going to the toilet lol
What I ment to say Dawn, men are better drivers and don’t even think about standing on my seats
see you soon

So that's where you pi$$ed off too.
You said you were coming down to Goodwood. Someone make you a better offer?
Steve
Yes, a great day out
Dawn, you were busy with the camera. All good pics!
Far too hot in the sun. Fortunately, we all parked near the trees, so were able to sit in the shade most of the day!
Keith and Nicky, glad you made the effort to come north of the river. Perhaps you could get some other "die hard southerners" to join next time?
As for the show, probably the largest display of cars I have seen and all for charity.

Great day out, Overheating problem appears to be solved, hooray!!!!
. Was a fantastic view of all the cars in a convoy on the road on the approach to Kimbolton. Great to meet all the other Ultima Owners and passengers that were there. Had a really nice day.
And GTWayne & Lucky P
....White is still best!!!! Nearly took a survey with me, but having had far to much quaffing of ale the night before, I forgot.
Great day out, Great people, great event, great weather some great cars. Thoroughly enjoyed myself.
See you all again soon.

Thanks GTR-Gaz, was great to meet you. Good luck with the car sale. Judging by the condition, build quality and the love and attention that went into putting it together, who ever purchases it will be one lucky person.
Hope to see you again sometime soon, maybe at the next event, with or without the Ultima.

I probably would have come up, in convoy with Keith, if I had not previously arranged to go to the Mini7 club meeting at Brands. Incidently the mini racing was great but the support races were c**p ( especially for the bloke who pranged his very quick E Type!). I toured the paddock at lunch time, only to see most of the front runners in the Mini7 and Miglia classes changing their engines between races "as a precaution". Blimey, I thought Mini racing was supposed to be cheap!

Great pics Dawn - Twas a great day - and as has been said, some great company and cars - will see you at the Factory if not before, and have made my mark on the calender for the 12th too.
Must meet with you two again just for the navigational adventure!
Saw you go off down a lane, I assumed to turn around - so I tanked it up the road and came back again and assumed you were in front - well up the road - then when I made it back to the A1 there you were behind me - not even gonna ask how you got there!! Anyways was great to meet you all and roll on the factory open day - did we agree to meet at the same place again? If not maybe a little further up the road at the services on the A45 turn off (Shell garage for that gorgeous Optimax stuff)
Catchya all laters!
Rob.

simonThat means the money will be burning a hole in your pocket now
You can give it to me for safe keeping
You'll only find 'another project' to do!!!!! like say interior retrim.....once Dawn has mastered the knack in of not standing on the seat
