Fitting of Cabin

Has anybody fitted the engine before the cabin? Is it possible to still rivet the cabin off if the engine has been installed first?
I'm running out of room and being able to install the engine now would surely help but I dont want to make a rod for my back.

Put the engine in your bedroom out of the way untill you need to fit it. But seriously, I have not heard of anyone fitting the engine before the body and would not think it possible, without making rods for backs ect.

I've actually been thinking of putting my custom harley in the bedroom. It would be the first thing I would see every morning as I wake for the winter. Missus said no.

I've never heard of someone in Australia say 'I haven't got enough room'.

You do not want to try and fit the body with the engine in. Body fit has to be very precise and carefully done so will be twice as difficult to do with anything getting in the way.
Stick it out in the yard, it won't rain before you need it again.

I'm not so out of room that its desparate. I would only fit it if the dramas were to be minimal. I thought I could put the cabin on and pre-drill the rivet holes and then remove the body to do all the dash works. Reckon I can wait a little longer.

I fitted the cab after the engine fit, but it was drilled first when the engine was out. Only a couple of awkward rivits in the centre of the rear bulkhead, everything else ok.
