Polished Aluminum Ultima

I know I read that someone was thinking of an aluminum bodied Ultima. Well during the build the light was just right to give the front clip a polished aluminum look. So for whomever it was......it might look like this

There is no such thing as a new black, less is more and all that!. Very clever but I don't like it, it looks like a huge ornament.

Maybe I'm missing something but I thought it was obviously a black clip that is at an angle of heavy reflection??

It's standard factory black gelcoat. I took the picture for my build albumn and it wasn't until I openend the file that it appeared to have a polished aluminum look to it. The sun and the camera just happened to conspire to make it look the way it does. If you look alter your viewing angle to your monitor you can make it look black or polished. Here is a more real life view

That was the location for one of the US Ultima meets. It's an aircraft hanger. Think they had about 6 cars there.

Yes it was and is the same location for this year. And if I remember correctly there will be 9 cars coming this year!! I can't wait!

Hey Brdee.....that would be quite the garage! That was the site of last years USA Ultima Gathering and is a 60*100 foot hangar. My Ultima garage is only 60*60.....oh the suffering! This years Gathering is moving one hangar over as we have a little extra space.... 70*100. We are looking at inviting the Factory Five GTM and Cobra owners/builders and enthusiasts as well. That would be interesting and fun!
