I just wanted to take some time and publicly thank everyone. I finally got to take my 2006 yellow Ultima Can-AM 720 for a ride yesterday. Thank you Ted, Richard, and everyone at the factory who helped build me a very solid car. Thank you Gail and everyone at American Speed for building an incredible engine. And last but definitely not least, thank you to everyone on PistonHeads. What a great group of people who take time out of their busy days to share their passion for cars with everyone.

Thank you and I look forward to meeting some of you in the future. If any of you ever go to Florida for vacations, please feel free to look me up and I would be happy to buy you a beer.

Congrats Chris

720! Looks like I'll have to turn the boost up on my Cam-Am. Which transaxle are you using to take all that power?

I would realy like to go to the gathering but I do not think my wife and kids will let me break away for too long. I also need to buy a trailer as that would be a long drive from Florida.

Maybe next year Chris? I am gearing up to come over myself next year and may hopefully have a few others in tow.

Well that sounds good to me. I will make sure to block off time for this next year too! It would be great to meet some of you guys in person. Someday,... Someday, I will have my Orange Ultima.

I know I am repeating myself but as they say, 'all good things come to those who wait'.How I see it is that I am doing nothing else anyway, so whilst waiting, something good is bound to come my way.

It is funny you said this. I took the car to the local shop to have a tech inspection don and they found a few things that would have left me without a smile if they were not addressed before hitting the track.

3 or 4 drive shaft bolts hanging on by just a thred.....ouch

Yep that would have done it...

Wayne, I already said I would be in on this but, it is looking like I will be over there already, but the car will be under a dust cover in garage back in Essex, not going to have it finished in time. Should be able to find a nice LSx engine to bring back with me though.

I’m going to hold you to that Chris
