And this is normally facilitated by having a beer first, after all you have to set out in the manner in which you intend to finish

Definately - drink

Well, just back with the wonder-wheels! Tread is a bit thin though! Can't see me setting any circuit records using these!

Saw my body! (ooooohhhh!) ..in luvely grey gelcoat!

Now to finding a way for me 'billy-no-mates' to lift the very-very heavy chassis off the dolly in a single garage!!!

Anyone muscle-bound fancy a trip up to Tewkesbury on sunday!

Why do you need it off the dolly?

Ah yes silly me.

Take dolly out onto drive. Lift one end and drag a workmate or trestle under the end. Do same at other end. Pull dolly out sideways. Lift an end, remove workmate, lower to ground. Repeat for other end.
I did this on my own with my chassis.

mad

Apart from one small problem............The Wonder wheels wont fit ....aaaaaaa fffffcensoredk!!!!!!

Am I being stupid here? Afer an 80mile round trip, I got the fronts on, just with about 2 thread spare....but the backs....no way! The studs are just no long enough to allow for a 1mm gap between the callipers and the wheel. Even flush there is no thread to speak of!

Now what! ....I need wheels!!!!

Looks like the prefit may very well be offfff!

Don't you have wheels on your dolly?? (I moved mine still on the dolly) or why not just take off the callipers if they causes the problem?
