Went to Brands at the weekend. Had a few laps in a Mini Monte Carlo by Z cars.

www.zcars.org.uk.

They recon that the Mini Monte Carlo would beat an Ultima round the track at Brands??? Me I am not convinced, although I have to say that the car is seriously quick. 0-60 sub 3 seconds (they claim) and top speed approaching 160 (they claim). It was out breaking, cornering and overtaking caterham 7 copies. It was seriously quick to be in and great fun.

This is the company that is developing the twin hyabusa engined Ultima Sport. See the post on the castor angle. Titled how much castor

I reckon very possible! However, you haven't given the chance of seeing a highly modified Ultima(like a Stealth B6) on the track. Ultima has had to make a few compromises to help make it an enjoyable road going car after all.

the mini looks great! and its relatiovely cheap to (15k for the kit)! not sure how much is involoved in the kit for but it does seem to work!

also read a TRC (track and race car) a few month back. thoes guys loved it! and that was set up quite soft to help get the power down and was said to handle quite well even on the road (i think).

thanks Chris.
