GTR bigger than an Exige?

Well? Is an Ultima GTR much bigger than a Lotus Exige? I never saw them side by side, and rarely get close to an Ultima in person. Thanks!

actually the canam is 1040mm high and 3950mm long without the splitter (I suspect the GTR is same length).

Sorry pulled those figures from the factory site assuming they would be right. Silly me.

OK, if you want to do measurements then my GTR is 4050mm.
That's from the front of the clip (the body line above the grill is forward of the moulded splitter) to a plumb bob dropped from the back lip of the wing. To be pedantic the end of the wing fence is 2mm further back than that so make it 4052mm.

thats worrying, 100mm difference in our measurements!

I can't imagine that there is that big a difference between the GTR and canam.... does yours have the front splitter? If not then I recon mine was a duff measurement.

At least I now know I'm not the only

No added splitter just the one moulded in.

I'll post a photo in January. British racing green Exige S with track pack and A/C delete and LSD should be here by then.

Whenever I see a Lotus I always think to myself how small they are, they actually make the GTR look small.

I know what you mean after seeing them side by side. I just stood there thinking of how space efficient the Ultima is! Also how easy it is to get in and out of!

I now have 6000 miles on my car and I'm ready for new rear tires. It spent mile 5000 on the track. It is a great car.
