A question for all the Can Am owners out there.

Does anyone find that it gets a bit warm driving the car hard in warmer climates due to the hot air exiting the radiator?

TIA

I haven’t finished my canam yet, but I believe the complaints about the heat where from hot engine compartment air being pulled into the passenger area, along with radiant heat from the radiator pipes.

I didn't notice any excessive heat when I rode in the Yellow Factory Demo Can Am.

if you have the low screen I don't think is a problem, I have the full screen, it doesn't suffer from heat from the raidiator but from heat from the engine bay vent (but only at very slow speeds).

Things I am considering are a ram air affair for the air filter and fresh air venting into the cockpit. Either would almost certainly cure the problem.

The problem IMHO is that the airodynamics are spot on and there is no buffeting in the cockpit so the only air that gets in is the stuff pumped in by the engine.

Thank You to all for the replies.

It doesnt seem to bother anyone else, so I guess I could also live with it.

USCANAM (Jack) has told me that he had heard of radiator air coming into the cockpit can be a problem, but that cockpit vents solve it.

It seems that I may have misquoted/misunderstood USCANAM.

Im sorry if Ive misrepresented what Jack had to say or if Ive caused him any heartache!
