Wiring help needed !

Hi folks,
Can you help ? I am struggling with the wiring on my GTR. I have clive's wiring diagram and the build manual of course, but wiring ain't my thing ... I am sure Andy at Ultima can solve it tomorrow, but that's too long to be stuck on a problem !
1) Headlights
Looking at the car from the front at the driver's side (i.e what the wiring diagram refers to as the right hand side, as it assumes you are sat in the car), I think the lights are :
top left hi/low beam top right hi/low beam
lower left driving light lower right indicator (am sure of this one at least !)
is this right ? Assuming so ...
The top left has the two sets of two wires to attach. The bigger wires are black and blue/white, and I understand that the black is the top most wire. BUT what about the two smaller wires (black and red/white) that go into a single "socket" on the light - how are they orientated ? The "socket" is at a slight angle.
2) Accusump
Where / how is this baby wired up ? The manual shows a black taped wire (part of the loom) entering and exiting a black box (that rotates) on the head "valve" - but which part of the loom does this attach from ? Ultima set out the loom for me at the time of the body-prefit but there is nothing within reach that seems to fit. My shortlist is
a) A coil of red "oilproof" wire in the Accusump box
b) A coil of green and gree/brown wires taped to part of the loom
c) A connector which has blue/brown and black wires
Any ideas ?
3) Petrol tanks
There is a connector to the top of the sender units (coloured brown(left) or green (right)/black) and a black wire that must be an earth (with a "washer end" on it) - where do you attach the earth ?
I knew I should have listened more in Physics I (how to wire a plug)

It is easier to think of the lights as outboard or inboard.
The top outboard lights are the high beam + side light. The top inboard lights are low beam.
The bottom outboard is the driving light.
The black and blue/white are as you say.
The red/white and small black connect to the side light. I’m not sure but believe it does not matter which way round they go as the light body is insulated.
The blue/brown are Accusump
You trap the ‘eye’ terminal under one of the bolts holding the sender into the tank.
bit rushed top gear is starting
