CV Joint Boot fix

I just received the updated CV joint boot clips from Ultima Friday, which is to prevent the boots from splitting. Upon inspection of my car one of the outer boots is already torn open, without ever have been driven. Since I can't reach Ultima (must be Easter Holiday), does anyone know if the rubber can be replaced? I've never messed with CV Joints, so don't know how they come apart. Thanks

I got my CV's bare and had to purchase the boots etc from Ford.
They are the same as on a Ford Granada although GKN also do there own version and am not sure how much they cost.

The most challenging thing is stopping the CV's spraying oil without running them dry due to the large angle they run at (mine never came out of the gaiter), I think after four or five re-builds trying different things this has been sorted on my car.

We have torn many of them as well, we finally switched to a Lobo part that has a accordian style boot which is much more durable and cheap.

I've been to NAPA with the above part number and have had no luck. Can anyone comfirm a number for these parts?

Try Toyota Hilux,they fit pretty nicely,and will go the distance.

Forgot to mention the Holden Monaro/Pontiac GTO run the same CV's and drive shaft od,it a GKN boot but its alot harder than Toyota.
