Hi all,

Have found a place over the other side of the pond selling an aircon unit remarkably similar to the Ultima one....

It's cheap - $229 for the whole thing inc control panel, but they sting you on the postage. If I can order 3 units and the total then comes down to $1220 (about £220 ea). Anyone interested as will be ordering in the next few days...

But that's only the under dash part.

What about the compressor, dryer, pipes, condenser, fan, filling fittings, compressor mounting brackets, pressure switches, relays etc.

Long way short of a working system.

I think the other parts are pretty standard. I already have a compressor of a V6 X type jag (2000 miles on it - cost £50) and condenser off an ultima with fan unit (£100). The rest of the parts are off the shelf items... Making mounting bracket's etc myself. You can get them cut with a waterjet out of 10mm high strength ali for £25..... I will be buying all this kit next, so can let you know if interested...

All it takes is a bit of time and you can save a grand...
