Reversing light

Has any body fitted a reversing light to their Ultima. I was thinking of hiding one behide the rear grill so it does not stand out. I was not bothered until shunting round a pub car park in the dark and wet - not fun with just the glow of brake lights for assistance.

Also is there a switch in the G50 box that could be used? I guess there must be; is it the large hex thing on the side that has two wires cut off or is that a speed sensor?

put an ohm meter on it and then put it in reverse if the ohms go to zero then bingo thats the switch

i have the same connector on my G21 box and was told this is the reversing switch for the light. i was also thinking of a reverse light behind the grill, perhaps a strip led light.

It is a reversing light switch, I use it to activate my reversing sensors when I select reverse
