Hello,

I want to have simple but effective ventilation systems for my LS2 engine in my Ultima GTR.
I don't want to connect an EVAP system with purge valves and so on.
I don't want that too much oil is coming in the intake manifold.

My questions:
1) How do I connect the crank case breather?
Is it right to connect it directly to the intake manifold or should I put a catch tank between?

2) What I have to do with the valve cover breather on the left side?
Should I replace the plug with a small K&N filter?

3) How do I connect the valve cover breather on the right side?
Is it right to connect it directly to the intake manifold or should I put a catch tank between (connected to 2)?

4) How do I connect the cylinder head air bleed pipe?
Is it right to connect it with a T-pipe to the lower connector of the swirl pot?

Man thanks for your help.

Regards
Oliver

On my ls1, I connected both the left and right value covers to a breather / catch can located in the air box. I didn't connect it to the intake at all and it seems to work fine. For the head coolant lines I plumbed it back into the main line right after the water pump before going into the swirl pot.
