Does anyone have any suggestions on fixing the surface scratches in the gelcoat? I must have gotten them while they were on their back and I was painting the underside. It was on a blanket so I don't know why it scratched?
thanks,
Paul

They should come out with cutting compound if not to deep otherwise you may need to gently wet'n'dry them out. Gell coat is way thicker than paint so you should have no problems.

Thanks Steve! Is cutting compound the same thing as rubbing compound?

Yes I would think so.
I would not bother with them until the car is finished as there may be more to come yet.

Thank you Steve. That is a good suggestion and puts my concerns to rest.
