Let me catagorically state here and now that if this does happen to be the case, I don't have a problem with it at all, I am at ease with my sexuality and whatever path folk tread in life is fine by me.
I was speaking to a business colleague today who as it happens, is gay, and whilst talking, the Ultima came up ( now now, steady, don't start! ) in the conversation and he said that it was such a masculin car that you would never catch a poof ( his words, not mine ) owning one. Just intrigued thats all,.....well?

I would also like to point out that where I mentioned above about 'catching a poof' is in no way a refference to the regional pastime of 'pulling a poof' which is a regular indulgence of the inhabitants of Brighton, my neighbouring town.

As you are a hetrosexual male, that is no surprise Simon, most do see their cars as female. I don't think that a GTR is any more or less masculine than a CanAm like for like but it is possible to build either derivative to be more aggresive or pretty, whatever your remit may be. I see the GTW as being 'one of the boys' more than female but I think this is due mainly to the fact that the car has been built to be/look aggresive and I have been surrounded by females for most of my adult life ( Wife + 2 X Daughters ) so it sort of feels a bit like the son I never had. Anyway, enough of the Freudian physcobable, any poofs in these cars?

How does it work in there Wayne?

'Hmmm....now, I have 5 days until judgement day. What needs to be done? Rear clip, oil change, tidy up bits and bobs.........arh, sod it, can't be bovered. I know I'll start a thread looking out for gay Ultima drivers!!'

I don't think you can top that one Wayne!!

PS. For what it's worth - I would have thought that the Ultima would be a perfect cover for any closet sausage smugglers - so......any of any of us could favour the marmite path!

All in the best possible taste of course!!

I have to say I had a crappy Dutton and I painted it a colour called "Porsche Magenta", which looked great on paper. Trouble was it was really "barbie-doll pink", an absolutely screaming colour. Thought about that for the GTR as well, but turned it down for a more traditional blue!

And am I gay?

Nope. Don't even like marmite. Yuck

That is a bit harsh old man, I have been busy addressing aforementioned chores and am almost done. The reason that I asked this question was purely out of curiousity although I must confess, I would be very suprised to find that we have an iron among us and even more suprised should they make it public knowledge. But then again, isn't it hip to be gay and proud of it these days?

Grant, in my experience I have found that those who point the finger of sugestion and try to besmurch another are usually trying to divert attention away from their own situation or inclination.........is there maybe something that YOU are trying to tell US? scratchchin You have contributed more to this topic than any other which does make it seem like you are reaching out, making a concerted effort and I urge you to be a man ( giver or taker, it matters not ), stand up and be counted yes
I am in no way shape or form a religious type but am a keen exponant of Darwins theory and see no place from an evolutionary viewpoint for the existance of folk like yourself but I also like to think of myself as a humanitarian and believe that a decent human being is a decent human being, despite gender, and I like to treat accordingly hehe
