Can someone tell me what all the standard settings should be??

I have the results of what they are at the moment and would be good to see the difference, I also have the bump steer results.

Builder posted this from the build manual:

From the build manual...without comment about springs:

Toe in front - 2mm overall
Toe in rear - 2mm overall
Camber front - 1 - 1.5` negative
Camber rear - 0 - 0.5
Ride height front - 110mm
Ride height rear - 160mm

What did you have then?

Generally does the GTR stock setup from the factory have bump steering issues? If so, does anyone know if the factory or some other source provides a bump steering kit?

It is purely an adjustment that may involve slotting some holes with a file to adjust the position of the rack. There are no other parts required. The ideal time to make the adjustments will be during the build as things are easy to get at then. The adjustment is not difficult just time consuming as any adjustment you make on one side will change the setting on the other. You end up having to creep up on the final setting.

I must admit I have not heard of this approach before. On that last car I built, the bump steering adjustment was made to the tie rod ends. I do not have the car yet, ships early August, so I am having a little trouble visualizing what you are telling me. I am sure once I see the rack and the frame I will better understand what you are telling me.

Ideally the track rod would come horizontally out from the rack to its track rod end with the centre of the ball joint being the same height as the rack when the car is standing and correctly loaded. This will mean that there will be the least amount of steering angle created when the suspension moves up and down through its resting position.
All you are doing is moving the Ultima rack up or down on its mounting position to achieve this ideal horizontal alignment.
