Am rather happy to report that my GTR has passes its SVA ! I'm now hoping to be on the road on the 20th, once the paperwork & registration has been done.

Before I head off to the local for a couple of hours euphoric drinking beer, a big thank you to Dave at Ultima who tackled a snagging list that was rather longer than I had listed ! Dave, you ARE the man !! cool

Another big thank you must go to CJ (Stig) - his excellent web site helped me out many a time. Cheers Chris !! clap

Thanks also to Steve and other pistonhead ultima experts for their guidance and advice when the factory was closed. I salute you all ! bow

Sorry, will stop now before this sounds like the Oscars (hey, no smilie for "Oscars" )

Regards

Tony

Make sure you start off gently, so as to avoid any 'Tuckshop' action...

Thanks guys, much appreciated. Am a few beers worse for wear but it does give me the chance to use the drink smilie. Which is nice.

I'm not sure of my gearing but the engine I have has a broad power band, revs high and has a genuine 640bhp according to the dyno - am well up for a run on the next vmax gathering. Anything close(ish) to midlands from August onwards. Should be a good benchmark for Ultima's 640 model.

Dinner now in the cat, so got to go forage for food in the garden.

Tony.
