Have found some extra storage space.
In front of each luggage pod there is a space where the brake servo’s mount if using the standard brakes.
I have fitted a bulkhead access hatch to the front of each side pod. The hatch is almost flush and is the type used in sailing dinghy bulkheads.
This gives half as much space again as the luggage pods on each side. The space is all the better if you have cut off the servo mount brackets.

Similar type of hatch www.sailnet.com/store/item.cfm?pid=20329

It's were I intend to mount the oil tank for the dry sump system when I fit one.

I always wondered what those wing things were on the front of the chasis.

I've completed one side and taken photos but do not have anywhere to host them. My son is putting a web site together for me but I don't know when that will be ready.
I could email if you like.

Thats a long way to run lines for a dry sump tank. Also, tough to find a tank that fits there. Let us know if you find a vendor and part number.

This would be good solution for cars that have center or left hand shift for Porsche gear box and two gas tanks. I can't think of any other place to locate the tank.

Thanks,

ken
