A/C and Heater Lines

Okay, so I have been test-fitting the body center section lately to see how I am doing. It seems the A/C and heater lines want to rub against the sides.

Has anyone done anything to protect the lines...anchoring or covers? I don't want the lines to damage the fiberglass...or get holes in them from constant friction.

I have mine strapped to keep them out of the way of the center section. I found putting the center section on required a lot of massaging of those lines to make the center section fit down all the way. So, without kinking them, I used nylon straps to tie them up so they don't interfere with the fiberglass.

Thanks, Paul. Nylon straps! I have the straps that were holding the GTR in the original crate. That's a good idea.

I've made some aluminum brackets for the heater hoses (will post a picture later). Wasn't sure what to do with the A/C lines.

Seems that, if the A/C lines are held towards the center of the car far enough to clear the body, doing so puts a little stress on the front connectors. How have you run them...below the outer chassis rail? Do you have any pix?
