No Ultimas at Brighton

Another year goes by and no sign of any Ultima's at the Brighton speed trials.
Is entry too difficult or doesn't anybody fancy it? The GT40 crowd always put on a great showing, along with a fair few Cobra's. Why no Ultima's?

I am planning an assault on Brighton next year. I am only about 10 miles away and have been attending the trials as a spectator for the past 20 years now. There are some regulars that are friends of mine ( Simon Sapstead normally in his Vauxhall powered NSU and Gary Passingham and his 800bhp Skyline to name just a couple ) and many others have attended over the years and although not cheap, being so local it must be done .
The surface being a public road along the seafront is notoriously bad for traction but if I am unable to break into the 10's, my mood along with the GTW is likely to be oh so very BLACK.
