Ultimas in Australia

Does anyone know if there are Ultimas being built in Australia?

Strange you should ask that. I did a search and found a red one over there, at least a few days ago. I am think of moving there and will have to research how easy it is to get on the road. I know it costs about £3K to ship a complete car so I have been told.

None being built in Melbourne at present (that I know of)

Sydney has
1 in mid build - red gtr
1 complete – for sale - red gtr
1 pile of parts – for sale ?

there is also
1 blue gtr - location unknown
1 yellow gtr - on gold coast ?
1 yellow spider - last known to be in canbera
1 silver sports - location unknown

Registration requirements are different for every state, do you know if you fit in one. I’m heading to Sydney to try one on for size in a couple of weeks.

The blue gtr was writtten off at eastern creek, it is in a workshop in Sydney.

Are any Ultima owners going to the Clipsal 500 in Adelaide on the 21-24 Feb? I will be there for one day, but strangely enough not in my GTR!

I spent a couple of hours this morning phoning Hotels to find somewhere to stay not knowing about the race weekend, finally found somewhere 85Km from Adelaide. It was a nice bonus to find out about the racing so I will have to go!
