I fancy a stopgap car for trackdays and reckon the Palmer car might be ideal - dry sump/Crane/oil coolers/designed for the job.

Do you reckon there's a chance of it surviving 20ish trackdays this summer? Rapid SBC death?

The Great Plan is summer onwards to build a bulletproof LS7 trackday car but this won't be finished until the new year. But I want to drive one now!!!

I was hoping that grabbing the Palmer car would allow me instant Ultima jollies with acceptable reliability. So the question is, does anybody think the Palmer car would poke up with a busy track summer?

The weather is set spot-on for Goodwood on Saturday and I have to drive the Turbobarge .... V8 would be good

Kyle - you guessed right, most cars are too quick for an old scrote like me .......

Could be interesting. Very attracted to injection - does it have dry sump?

The car will see a lot of trackdays so needs to be strong rather than pretty .....

Briefly, she has canton winged racing sump, four very new yoko tyres, stack dash, fully plumbed in fire extinquisher system, adjustable brake bias, battery cut-off, Willwood Superlight 4 pot brakes on the front.

G50 5speed box, Ultima seats with drivers 6 point harness.

All suspension is fully adjustable.

The engine map can be fully adjusted from a laptop.

She also has proper indicators and windscreen wiper controls etc.

Hope this info. helps

Martin.

Sounds good - any chance of a couple of photos?

Apologies, but being new to PH forums I haven't figured out yet how to send PMs or e-mails directly
