My GTR For Sale
Discussion
Hi All,
My car is now, sadly, in the classifieds : http://www.pistonheads.co.uk/sales/400286.htm
Would have loved to have held onto it for a little longer but expanding family means :
1. A bigger house and some form of people carrier are now top of the shopping list.
2. I have zero time to actually use it.
Building it has been a fantastic experience though and one I will always cherish.
Driving it has been an immense eye opener and I have had some very fast cars and bikes in the past.
The performance is, quite frankly, ridiculous in every respect and nothing I have been in or on gets anywhere close to what these cars can do.
If it doesn't sell over the next couple of months I will try to get to some of the PH meets this summer to put some faces to the names here who have kindly helped me along the way during my build.
Thanks All and Happy Blatting

In light of the other threads running it may be worth mentioning if the engine is AS?
The engine came from a much better UK source, so should command a premium over the standard stuff!Very sorry to hear it's going Jeremy, hope it was fun while it lasted and one day will draw you back to the fold.
Thanks Tim
To confirm - the engine is NOT American Speed.
It was built by British American Engines in the UK.
They provide a nice personal service and also regularly call me to check up on how things are going which is a nice touch.
When I needed to get my flywheel rebalanced I was able to speak to the actual guy that put the engine together directly first thing in the morning and get the exact info I needed to get it sorted.
Would highly recommend them to others
Not wanting to add fuel to the AS debate here but I have seen enough on this forum and from other owners to actively avoid them, let alone pay a premium.
Edited to say Pics now seem to be working too

Your kit looks great but it's about 10K over my price limit

BAEngines are a good small team who I have used several times, they are worth a look for potential buyers/builders. http://www.britishamericanengines.co.uk/
