Importing from America
I’m currently living in the US and will be until my visa runs out in September 2009.
I am toying with the idea of getting a LS engine, with all the (bells and whistles), wheels and MAYBE a bike (the bikes will be to sell they are so cheep here), not sure if it is legal to sell? I was thinking of bringing my truck back, at 8 mpg I can't see anyone wanting it in England.
I heard that if you brought and owned the item for more that 6/12 months you don’t have to pay any tax?
Does anyone know anything about this?
If it is the case it might be worth getting a container and bringing a load of stuff back.

Mmmm maybe. Some people in my class are buying new bikes to send back home, but not to sell just as they are so cheep here, brand new R1 $9,000.
I've got a night flight to Melborne at 8 tonight and the Beach Boys are playing on Cocco beach, I'm trying to find out if I can over fly it...
