cable shifter brackets that mount to the transaxle

I've got everything that I need to put my car back together except some mounts that hold the sheath of the cable shifter to the transaxle.

I'm using a G50/52 in a GTR with a CMS side shifter and a Elise shifter. I want to mount the cables to the transaxle rather than the chassis to prevent cable movement with engine torque.

I'm hoping that someone here has already crossed this bridge.

Ken,
I have the same transaxle you've got and an LS7 that I have had out and tested thoroughly. My bracket for the arm on the CMS side shifter is mounted to the frame. If you're using solid mounts the engine doesn't torque or move more than an 1/8" or so. It is the car that moves, if anything. I haven't had any trouble with my setup.

What part of the US are you in?

k: I had my fabricator build a set for my g50-03 transaxel for the very reason you stated. The car is down for a change to Kinsler injection and a ARE dry sump I could ask him to build another set, send me an e mail and I will send you a picure if you are intrested. Lee

Lee, I need some of these too. Do you think the /02 brackets will work with the 50/52?

If you can post some pictures of the installation, I can check to see if it looks like they will work.

I'm in the north east part of TN, near Bristol. I've thought about the solid mounts and will likely install them but still want to mount the cables to the transaxle. I greatly appreciate the help offered.

It turns out that the brackets needed for a G50/52 differ from those used on other transaxles as a result of the increased diameter of the differential housing.

California motorsports is now selling the brackets and has many in stock for 200.00 USD.
