removing auto choke
Discussion
Hi,
I have successfully started my engine with the choke flap wide open so I ask myself - do I really need this as it looks like it interrupts the air flow into the carb.
How do I remove the flap with out grinding off the pin (which is not a good idea having metal filings flying all over the place)?
Any advise would be appreciated.
Cheers,
Martin.

Just done my manual choke removal.
Take a really sharp screwdriver and shove it down along side the choke blade so as it springs the choke bar split apart. Choke blade just pulls out. Split choke bar goes in bin .........
