Can Am mirrors on the GTR

Is there any reinforcement in the Can Am door for the mirror mount post?

I've been in the GTR with the standard mirror and prefer something different.

I don't see why you can't the Can-Am door is no different to a GTR, just as remodeled top section.

Hi K wright , no reinforcement but the post goes right through the door and bolts through the bottom .
