First Ultima experience

Greetings to all,
I had my first experience with an Ultima this Sunday during a charity event, where I purchased myself a ride in this beautiful Can-Am (it's me in the right seat with the hair in the air, driver/owner is on the left):
It wasn't my initial plan to take this ride, but the GT40 I had booked myself on had a small off-track experience and went out of the programme when I was ready for it, so I had to find an alternative - and the Can-Am was the same price, and looked quite interesting. My two boys loved it, so why not?
I can only say it was an absolutely incredible experience! I can't find better words to describe it, but you guys will probably know
This particular car has a 600-something bhp engine, a 5-speed gearbox, and AP calipers. AFAIK it was built for the owner by the factory, i.e. it wasn't a home built kit. The ride was rough and smooth at the same time, acceleration was fantastic, cornering was incredible. The sound of the engine was like 50 VW bugs running full revs at the same time

I have to admit it - I'm an
engineer, and the thought of assembling my own car is absolutely fascinating. The fact that a kit car can be this good makes it really, really interesting. And the costs don't scare me off. What does, however, is that this country (Denmark) has the most craziest tax on cars in the world and I'll have to pay about the DOUBLE of the cars value in tax to put it on the road. That would ruin me.
So I'd have use it only on closed circuits and to tow it back and from, and there will be no taking the boys to school in a supercar
Currently, I don't have the garage to host the work. Not yet, at least, but my wife and I are looking for a bigger house in the area, and we both agree that a garage is needed. Besides, I have a mid engined French sports car from 1982, a Matra Murena which I'm driving and restoring concurrently (and enjoying both), and I won't be ready to take another project on before the Murena is perfect.
But I'm thinking I could realistically start in 2, maybe 3 years from now.
Yes, I'm thinking long term, but that's okay with me. I like planning ahead, and it won't be a small project, I guess.
Two of my boys and I are going to Le Mans, and I thought, maybe it would be possible to meet one or two Ultima owners down there for a chat and a beer and some admirering of your cars? It's going to be our first time to Le Mans (!) so we'll probably be busy just sucking in the atmosphere, but part of that is looking at visitors' cars (we'll be in my wife's Renault Espace V6, so nothing exciting on our part), and what would be better than looking at Ultima's?
Any chances?
