R.I.P Scott Kalitta

American Top Fuel Funny Car driver Scott Kalitta was killed this afternoon in Englishtown, NJ when his Top Fuel Funny Car went through the gravel trap and exploded into the woods. I know this is an Ultima Forum, but I thought it might be of interest to all motorheads alike. My thoughts go to his family and friends.

Crafty and I were at that track (Englishtown NJ) with my GTR on Power TOur couple years back. There's a concrete wall at the end.
The engine was found deep in the woods across the road. No pieces of the car larger than a 55 gal drum, I'm told.
