Build Manuals

[Captain Slog]

How often do the build manuals (CD's) get updated. Some people on new builds seem to be hitting problems that were pointed out and corrected by PH members many months ago. I cant imagine the factory are issuing CD's which includes proven installation problems.

Any new builder care to comment

My copy is Rev. 3.00 and in the readme file is dated 31/03/04.

Any raise on 3.00?

Mine is same as Steve's and I got the latest version just earlier this year. However, the factory added quite a few new bits for an LS-7 installation. That includes plenty of pics of the engine bay in various stages of construction, quite a handful of really useful Word docs with nice and proper diagrams for fuel system, oil system, etc. I'd say the original manual definitely needs a refresher. A newbee builder like myself is lost with it. So I relied a lot on CJ's and Craig's build diaries. Hopefully the the original manual can catch up with the LS-7 section ...

Got mine three weeks ago, rev 3.00.
Still a few vague areas at the minute particularly with stuff like the recent posts on aircon etc.
Hmmm..... I think this is gonna be more fun than first anticipated !!!!!!

Steve, any chance of a copy of the CD/DVD? My manual is PAPER V0.0000000000001

Did ask the factory but never got one......

What makes you think the V3 will be of any more use.

Try the factory again as I am not allowed to copy it.

Mine is on tablets of stone!

Surely the longest gestation period of any Ultima - 10 years in the making (and getting better with age!).

Hopefully the SVA man will agree... when the time comes!
