I've got a set of suitably sized and unused Comp T/A's kicking about that I may as well put to use.

I understand that Goodrich has since updated this line to the G-Force T/A's.

Anyone still running the Comp T/A's, or remember what they were like?

Any opinions?

I've got 2000 miles on the new BFG G Force KDW's
The tires are marked "USA only" on them, not sure if they are legal in the UK, at least for SVA.
I had previously Michelin Pilot PS2's, The BFG seem about equal traction wise on the street. But are way better in heavy rain, which I encountered on this year's Hot Rod Power Tour (AKA Floodfest).
The Michelins may be better for track use due to the tighter grooves in the tread blocks on the outer edges.

Sorry, didn't read the post completely.
I ran the ealier Comp Ta's, they were very good.
Not quite as sticky as the Goodyear F1 Fioranos, but the ride was smoother due to a more compliant sidewall over the Goodyears. If you've got an old set, they may be hard from age, so be careful.
