Standard Dash to Stack Pod, difficult to do?

I'm looking a car for sale that has the standard Ultima gauges and centre pod fitted however I really fancy a Stack pod behind the wheel.
Is this difficult and expensive to change?
I'm assuming in simplified form it's a blanking plate on the centre and then cut out where the Stack would fit then retrim the lot, but anything I'm missing here?

I had Stack's in both my Ultimas. They worked fine - never had a problem with them.
You will need to run the Stack loom to the various sensors (which can be a pain depending on routing), but in principal, it's do-able.
Obviously you'll need to uncover (unless it's not covered) the dash which will be VERY messy, fill the gaping hole in the middle, cut the apeture for the Stack dash pod (available from factory), then recover.
To be honest, it's a fair bit of work and cost for what it will give you as a retrofit. Why not update the guages instead? Far easier to install a Stack combi guage in the existing dash pod which will give you additional info?

Just took a good long look at the dash and think I'll stick with the Ultima Gauges.
Do need to tidy up the switches though as they are all over the place.
(In case you're wondering it's not one I've built myself but a 2nd hand one that I'm buying but needs a good tidy up).
