I have now positioned my loom and started to attach it in various places.

I have used cable ties along the dash rail - see picture - I was going to drill and P-clip, but the cable ties seem to do a good job.

My question is - Does the front surface of the dash rail need to be kept completely clear for when the body/dash go on, or can the cable ties be used in this way on the rail.

Thank you very much,
Regards

Kelvin

The ties in the picture will be fine.

I would not use 'P' clips as some time in the future you may have to amend the wiring under there and 'P' clips would make it almost impossible.
I would recommend you don't use any more than you have to at this stage as you are a long way away from knowing exactly where everything has to go.

As Steve said, leave cable ties loose until the very end too. You'll be amazed at what you end up threading through them!
