Todays Ultima Test Drive...
Discussion
Tuesday 29th July...dry conditions, did i want full level 10 experience?....yes!....
Fookin rapid road car that handled kart like with stunning brakes. (but you lot know that anyhow)
Why the fook people would want more than 500bhp for a road Ultima i just dont get..
but fair play to those who have lived with 500ish and then upgrade (but they must be brain numb)
Rapid on a country lane is all about the exhilaration effect but i can say its the fastest feeling car (much more than my race radical) that i have been in. (sorry but not on par with my Superkart as that even sh@t D. Culthard up)
I was actually quite shocked on the quality of factory build which was mighty impressive.
I dont like the looks of the front end, never really have, but whats that really got to do with a car like this i suppose
Nest stop: Detroit on Thursday to view the SL-C Aspira before any orders are placed.
Respects

That is a mighty fine shot. Amazing how a bit of CGI can do wonders for marketing. Looks like a proper production super car in that!! They just need to link in a colour selector and some 360 capability and they'd have people falling over to buy.
Hate it that the www.aspiracars.com site doesn't seem to work. Why do companies do that!!??

As a lot of people might not find the front-end of an Ultima appealing, however, the SL-C isn't perfect as well. It's not attractive from rear. Looks unfinished at that...
Nothing a bit of CGI couldn't sort out.
Lots of people do buy from images (read, marketing hype)
Craig's doing it the right way - back to back testing

Just has a look up the ar5e of my fave three 1:18 leMans cars....Porsche GT1, Bentley Speed 8 and the Pug 908......It ain't pretty.
Must be a reason why the SL-C just, err, stops. Like that.
Lucky, I was about to post a link to its rear end. But I knew eventually, you would notice it. The two main things that makes the rear section look horrid, the wing stand, and diffuser. If the wing stand were done in a solid metal plate, rather than steel tubing which look like tree branches, and the enclosed mid section of the diffuser would definitely make it look complete. On top of that, within the section above the diffuser, and where mufflers protrudes, a grille would definitely finish it off. otherwise, the car looks pretty good.
