Spare Ultima Uprights...

I have a set of new uprights spare (front & rear and including new machined hubs) that really should go to a good home... ideal saving for those who are starting off on their budget build!
Anyone here interested?

Have some uprights, but if andy/anybody has any other bits they want to offload, I now have the chassis and will be starting my build very soon...

Are these factory cast uprights? If so, I would be interested in the next few months if you still have them then, and are willing to ship to Canada.

Right they are now already promised to someone (sorry)....

What this has shown is that we should have a "I've got spares" thread so that people can benefit from the bits floating around in other Owners/builders garages.

Is this a good idea?

Funnily I have spares of these as well..... but I'm not sure I wish to sell the box and I won't be selling the 'spare' engine just yet.

I think it's a good idea. I'll be nosing around for a few. Although check with TedStig as it may be seen as classified advertising. Perhaps it just needs to go in parts for sale section with a nod to them here?

Or...

Clive and Andy - send me a list of bits if you want to keep it off-forum.

The classified could be OK if listed in a specific 'Ultima Parts' category.

Worth pointing out that there is also a fre classifieds section in the Ultimaclub mag.

I've asked PetrolTed if he can add "parts for sale" to the Ultima section of the ads.

Being the reasonable sort of chap he is (especially if you offer him a Guinness) I'm sure he'll come through for us

You will just need to visit the section and register your interest, and then any time a new item is posted there, you'll automatically get an email. Or you can just browse from time to time.

No sooner said than done. I had an email back from PetrolTed. He has added an Ultima Parts section.

I suggest you all go and start advertising the contents of your workshops
