hi guys,

what sort of minimum ride heights do you get away with on UK roads.

I think most people run 110/160 measures from the underside of the chassis to ground, front/rear at wheel centres. I don't think this is the lowest point though. That would be the bolt heads on the underside of the dropped floor pan.

I have to run my car at 120 at the front so I can't measure my floor pan foor you, but I'd guess at 100 depending upon what type of bolts/nuts you use. I changed to shallow hex pan heads to stop the annoying scuffing I was getting.

thanks lucky... bet speed bumps / mounting curbs is a pain in arse in general?

If speed bumps are the legal 100mm high then no problem.

You don't go anywhere near curbs particularly with P's rims.

Whoops, should have answered your question.

No, my car 120mm front end, is no problem over bumps or steep slopes. I'd say we have more front end clearance than many supercars due to our exceptionally short overhang. Take a GT 911 and you have problems. Take a SL-C with it's long snout and well....just make sure you have the hydraulic front lift option wink
