has anyone modified the back GRP to insert a clear viewing/peering panel into the engine?

Yes, there are at least two in existence that I know of. SSS is the man that you need to speak with. My GTW has the same shape hump in the rear clip with the revised C/F air intake but I opted for a glass fibre one, not clear because unless you have something especially good to look at under there felt it to be a waste of time; It is not a hot rod.
