Hi guys, i just bought an omp steering wheel to replace the one i've got. Only problem is, the bolt's are in diffferent places.

Do i need to by a boss? or something else? i've not fitted one of these before, and been flawed by six bolts. doh. Or have i bought the wrong thing?

Many thanks

Craig.

Depends what you mean about the bolts being in the wrong place.

If they are the wrong hole centres - redrill and retap the steering column head.

If the bolts holes seem to be on the other side of the car you may have bought a steering wheel for a left hand drive car.

If your new steering wheel has three bolt holes and your boss has six then have no fear, an adapter is available. Ask the proprietor from whom you bought the new wheel or failing that, Demon Thieves are always a last resort yes

Sorry - what i mean is still has the six bolts on it, just when i light it up with the old one, the new one's bolts are about and extra 1cm far apart.

Looking at the old steering wheel, someone's made up a aluminum plate to bolt to the steering column head. So i'm gussing i just need to take that off, and re-drill some holes?

I'll take some pics when i'm doing it, as it might make more sense ...

Thanks

Craig.
