The time has come!!!

The time has come to lift my Can Am complete with engine and gearbox off the trolley!
The question is how? Do I lift it with two engine hoists, if so where to locate the straps? which is the strongest part of the chassis? or do I jack it up? if so how? can't find a jack that will go down to 120mm and reach up to 600mm.
This must have been an issue in the past but can't a thread that will answer the question.
So what's the best method?

I have a beam and hoist across my garage so was able to strop from the engine mounts which took most of the cars weight allowing met to lift the front and slide a builders trestle under the front while I took the trolley out. It was then a succession of lowering each end in turn.

In your case you will have to put the engine hoist in as far as it will go and set the boom for the lift weight bearing in mind the engine end will most likely be carrying 60% of the weight. Use webbing strops from the lower chassis rail if you can and positioned at or near a triangulation point.

Front could be similar to me but you will have more weight on that end than I did. An engine hoist will work fine and pretty much anywhere around the front suspension mount points on the chassis will do for the strops.
