Yes, it looks good , but when you say "contender", I am not sure what you mean - they say on the website it is "built purely for racing", so if you are comparing it wth the Ultima, you are not comparing like-for-like.

I should think you could build an Ultima "purely for racing" for a LOT less than 70k.

Mmmmm.....yes I think it can be a serious contender as a "just for track day use "car. In fact, my GTR is closer to a pure racecar than a road car and at this time I have more than 70K on it (12K just for the gearbox).
May be the monocoque chassis from Aquila is the only part I'm not very confident with specially after a crash.

Your English is excellent . When I said that I was not sure what you meant by "contender" it was certainly not a reflection on your use of English.
