Does anybody have a spare thermostat housing or know where I could get one from, oh its a chevy block, the one I have at the moment is a lovely shiny chrome one made in Tiwan, hense it has a pin hole which has coroded through and causing a leak. thanks.

Any prospect of repairing it with chemical metal / epoxy?

Hi Russ, good to hear you have had that problem wink Meaning it's not only me, although I never got a leak. I replaced my nice "chome" one for a CSR job only to find what I took off wasn't going to last much longer. A metalergist (!) looked at it at work and said it was nice Monkey metal, with an effect he found very odd, as it looked like the metal had been melted and redeposited, ie just where a pit was you would find a peak. Get rid!
