Got my centre-mount tank (with foam and internal collector) and pair of dinky (but DEEEEEP) side-pod rads today from Pro-Alloy Motorsport. Absolutely top-drawer quality!

PS - The 'ripples' on the tank are reflections from the bubble-wrap

they look good...always wondered why they dont run rads in side pods and fuel cell up front(or is that a bit dangerous on a plastic car???)

I explored the possibility of putting a tank where the front rad sat, but the general consensus was that it was not the brightest of ideas (funny that!).

I'm more comfy with the tank sat inboard.

Did the last project have the tank inside the cabin?............maybe this has contributed to your advanced lateral thinking!

Lol... there are no tanks inside the cabin!

The tank is going between the engine and the bulkhead.

Is that the only tank? - 8 Gallons wont get you very far. My Dakar used to have an 8 gallon tank - having to fill up every 60-100 miles got very boring.

Thankfully, fuel stations are pretty common these days and I find the prospect of a leg-stretch every 100 miles or so quite appealing!

Sorry but having a GT40 with only one tank and 45 liters is no fun trust me....

I'll stick to my 90 Liter tank all day... and that's further forward and more in the centre of the car.... and now I too have usefully side pods, that I can put intercoolers in if I want...ps Tank also removable from under the car, without removing engine or cutting up the body to get at either.... Ooops sorry your thread...
