That might account for the....er..."unusual" bonnet.

Probably not even an Ultima chassis under there.

I would say its all down to the price - £500 gets you some nice bits ! wheels engine etc, but that body........ some one has had a very long run up and hit it with an ugly stick !

yep my thoughts there could be a few nice bits under the mess?? A Jag V12 and auto why oh why!!!! Heavy as a heavy thing old fashioned and low on power what a waste of time imo.

I would say it's almost certianly front engined, using a Jag V12 and auto box.


I wonder where the builder got the body/chassis from. I feel Ted wouldn't sell them to him if he had any idea what was going to be done to them.

I'm sure they'll be ford wheels, just to move the thing around on. A front engine in a car designed for mid mount car is a little worrying, more photo's to follow perhaps it will be all cleared up then!

It is hardly surprising that the factory don't like selling cars to people they believe are going to develop their own sportscar....

I thought front engined due to auto box but then remembered you can get a Ranult 25 Auto box... maybe but front engined would solve that wired front bonnet....

But please I hope this ones goes the same way as Albert and Edward....

thats what he told me along with engine is yes in the front... and interor complete and he does not know if it is an Ultima chassis???
