As an importer, I have a company abroad I deal with, willing to make virtually anything out of carbon fibre.
I will be likely looking potentially at diffusers, spoilers, splitters and other items for the Ultimas.
Any suggestions will be welcome and prices will be forthcoming once I can decide whats popular enough to proceed.
This is from a top company without the silly UK prices, and a fully fledged R&D dept to boot, so if you guys want anything from a dashboard to a CF clam, let me know and Ill tally up the most popular items and take it from there... ok so who would like what exactly?

I'm just about to purchase a Laser Scanner for work.......one that can scan an entire building - its guaranteed accurate to 3mm over 100m (but in practice is much more accurate than that)... AWESOME bit of kit, and I immediately thought of its application to Ultima mods... including scanning the engine + trans.

And me!

I must admit I find the carbon bits premium a bit hard to understand in the car world.
I have a mate locally who moulds 4-6 foot long carbon kevlar hull/deck's which take a full day's labour per unit. They are quite a complex vac-formed shape, pre-joined and come finished to a very high standard for around £300!
So materials-wise I would say there is 2-3 times the volume in one of his hull/deck units than a single side intake!
He's flat out busy though all year and sells lots of units!

1. side splitters, I quess thats what you folks call the winglets on the side of the nose.
2. vents for top of front and rear fenders these should mount with a very small edge so that they could be installed without re- painting the nose. If someone was in the painting process they could blend them in at that time.
3. I made an alloy peice that forms a flat section between the top top roll bars in the interior and then rolls around the bars and finishs just below the roof. Its a very nice peice and provides room for lots of stuff like the interior light, E flasher switch, and my main power switch. It does not interfer with head room and cleans up the dash area of all this STUFF that you do not use driving down the road. If you are interested in a picture of that e mail me directly. Lee

Ok , keep the suggestions coming as I will be arranging to have samples made next week.
I will likely borrow Chewys side pods for them to use as a mould.
They seem to be the most popular item so far, so will be one of those requested.

I'll be up for a pair of sidepod ducts as long as they are cheaper than the Reverie ones....

Also Clam Vents please!

Ditto the above plus the side rear intakes. BTW they used to refer to those side down force pieces as 'canards'

Just a quick note -if anyone has either a specific piece they want copying, or a mock up they have done in another material, we can send that piece (returnable of course) for the company to make a mould from it.
Please let me know if you guys want to make use of this facility as an actual sample will of course produce the best results.

Wilder when you think about the vents for the front and rear fenders take a look at the ones on the GM C6R ALMS cars. These are done very nicely not to kitish looking really add to the lines of the car. Lee

One other item I thought of adding , does anyone have a wing mirror (or just the housing) for the GTR that I can send ( on loan) to have made as a sample in CF? I thought this would be a good addition.
There may be provision to have some of the items coloured at the factory, but I am awaiting confirmation on this.
