Hi All

Ive been out in a LS7 powered Ult today........ wow

Andy,the lucky owner of the said vehicle popped over from Nottingham and met up with myself and Can Am Dave. GD have done a lovely job of the install and Dave and I had a good look around the car, GD have done some lovely subtle engineering upgrades on the car.

Andy took me out for a ride and im very impressed, the power delivery it is so smooth and the car is a lot quieter than i expected. It revved so cleanly almost to the point that i think it was being well over revved(Andy is going to check the rev limiter is set correctly) but 3rd gear acceleration was awesome.

Very impressed. Andy is keen to do some trackdays and looking forward to Stoneleigh etc.

Just thought I'd mention the trackday below;

http://www.circuit-days.co.uk/event_details.php?ve...

Did this layout (Silverstone South) and it's very good, I actually prefer it to the GP circuit and it's around £100 cheaper compared to Goldtrack etc...

Anyhow, if I haven't sold the GTR I'll be doing it again on the 26th March so great if some other owners could be there..

Cheers,
Robin.

Kyle / Dave - good to meet you both and thanks for all your help. I've learnt shed loads today, but it's just the tip of the iceberg. My confidence behind the wheel is starting to pick up a little as well, although it seems I have a 7 litre car and a 9 litre foot!! So far I have only covered about 500 miles, so I don't think I'm quite ready for track days for a month or so. I'm a bit worried I may get done for kerb crawling if I go on a track day too soon, but if I can get out and clock up a few more miles, I might be tempted nearer the time...
